F. Karlin (March 3, 1922 ~ January 18, 2008) was an early graduate of the HS of Music & Art, NYC, founded by Mayor LaGuardia, along with its sister HS of Performing Arts, made famous by the movie Fame. A talented and respected artist, her paintings received local recognition.
